Application
For Spring 2021, Hacking 4 Oceans is looking for a cohort of students who are excited to gain first-hand experience working in an interdisciplinary environment to address pressing ocean and coastal issues.
Because students will be interacting directly with high-level individuals from governmental and non-governmental organizations, Hacking 4 Oceans expects a baseline of excellence and commitment from its students.
As such, interested students must apply in advance. You can apply as an individual (we will help match you with a team) or as a team.
Admission to the course is on a rolling basis.
We aim to make final decisions before spring break starts. If you need additional time, please contact csp@ucsc.edu directly.
Teams work together on a specific problem. Teams should be diverse and each member will learn a tremendous amount about the problem field.
